Direct surroundings

The direct surroundings of the campsite are a rolling landscape with many fields and vineyards. Excellent for walking and cycling.
There are lots of small villages to visit or to cycle through: Vézénobres, Sauve, Uzès, Sommieres and many more.
French villages are well known for their small ‘marches’ with local products. Every day of the week you can find one in the near surroundings. Olives, typical Cevenol Cheeses, special herbes and saucissages and more local products are to be found here. The area is well known for their many potteries. The most famous one ‘Poterie de la Madeleine’ is only 5 minutes away from our campsite.
Many flea markets, antique markets and ‘vide grenier’ (=to empty your attic) are organized in the near surroundings. Some are weekly, some only now and then.

A bit further in the région

A bit further from the campsite
At 60 kilometres up north is the Ardèche. Provence is at 50 kilometres to the east.
The Mediterranean is about 70 kilometres towards the south. Here you will find mundane seaside resorts like La Grande Motte, but also smaller villages like Le Grau du Roi with its extensive beaches.
The delta of the Rhone is situated towards the southeast: this is the Camargue, with its white horses, herds of bulls and innumerable flamingos.

Your diverse holiday starts with us.
